Hey, Teaser Tuesdays! Remember when we used to do this?!? Hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading, Teaser Tuesdays is just a good excuse for us all to share a bit of what we’re reading this week. Wanna play? Excellent. Rules:
- Open the book that you’re reading to a random page
- Share two “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- Don’t be a jerk: NO SPOILERS!
- Be sure to include the title & author.
They had killed six people in the last six days, including the owner of the Continental, his wife, and his smarmy daughter. But it was not the six murders that made them feel antsy about being on the interstate.
The Stand, Stephen King (Kimberly)
Sooooooo . . . out with it! What are you reading this week?

Oooh, you’ll have to tell me what you think of The Stand. I read it in high school, and it’s one of my favorites. There’s imagery from that book that still stands out clearly in my head, despite it being at least 10 years since I read it. When you get to the scene involving a tunnel, you’ll know what I’m talking about.
Will do . . . what are you reading these days?
